With Nadar Ensemble
Gessnerallee, Zürich (CH)
In the framework of the Festival Tage für Neue Musik that will take place from 13 – 16 November, Gessnerallee presents a concert of contemporary music and performative setting by the Belgian Ensemble Nadar, a piece for instruments, video, live electronics, game controller and megaphone. In Generation Kill (2012) by Belgian Stefan Prins three instrumentalists are played by three game controllers, the smart piece Exit to Enter (2013) by Michael Beil quotes and further develops the wonderful experimental film L’Homme Orchestre (1900) by Georges Méliès. Ensemble, live video and tape playfully explore the film.
